Announcing the Walden Family Theater Book Giveaway!

This is a big week for Walden Media, as we count down to Friday’s launch of Walden Family Theater on Hallmark Channel, featuring the world premiere of Return to Nim’s Island at 8/7c. Walden Family Theater is the latest expansion to our multimedia storytelling platform, and we couldn’t be more excited about providing families with a new destination for quality entertainment they can enjoy together.

In celebration of the newest chapter in our storytelling history, we’re giving away 500 copies of Anne Ursu’s book, Breadcrumbs, published under our Walden Pond Press imprint. Inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen story The Snow Queen, Breadcrumbs is a dazzling ode to the power of fantasy, and a heartbreaking meditation on how growing up is as much a choice as it is something that happens to us. One of the goals of Walden Family Theater is to connect audiences of all ages through entertainment. To that end, we’ve created supplementary activity guides for each of our original films, where you’ll find recipes, crafts and education materials that complement the film’s storyline and enhance the viewing experience.
