Halloween Safety Tips for Kids and Preschoolers

This is a fantastic family friendly article.  Thank you.
For our family, when the kids were little, we preferred costumes without masks—using face paint—too increase each child’s ability to see oncoming cars.  We also went to big-box stores and purchased a camper’s “light stick” for each child.  If they work for Dad when he is lost in the woods after dark, then they will improve safety for our little ones when they are caught up in the excitement of the evening.  Stan Acres

Another good tip—before leaving the house, be sure to know who your neighbors are and plan your path accordingly. Found this app through facebook that shows you where sexual offenders live in your area. I encourage you to check it out. http://www.lawfirms.com/facebook-sex-offender-apps.html
