The trailer for the new Walden and Fox film TOOTH FAIRY starring Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Judd, Billy Crystal and Julie Andrews in theaters today.
Dwayne Johnson is “The Tooth Fairy”, also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster’s hopes, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite wings and magic wand. At first, Derek “can’t handle the tooth” - bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers’ homes…doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.
TOOTH FAIRY opens in theaters nationwide January 22, 2010. Watch and share the trailer with your friends, and check back to Walden.com regularly for more information about the film.

The trailer makes a great short. At 53 yrs I still like to see movies that encourage and build up people. This certainly looks like the movie will do that. Too many of the men I work with (I am a prison chaplain) have had dreams shatteres. Their lives have been in pieces for a long time; many since chldhood. I haven’t seen anything I can say is faith building, but the movie looks encouraging.
Dear Walden, i think it will not work. The movie will be a bit profitable, but not much:(. Sorry. I like Dwayne, he have potential to do that job, but director simply not opens that potential. Same as in the “Race to Witch Mountain” - i watched very careful, yes, sometimes it works, he opens, he really free, but most of time he in the crust of his image, and he can’t broke it.
Guys you have to do something BEFORE January 22, because it is NOT ready to make a good impact.
this film is really good, id recomend watching it!!!
