Dwayne Johnson in Fairyland in TOOTH FAIRY.
TOOTH FAIRY stars, Dwayne Johnson and Stephan Merchant, sat down with Entertainment Tonight Online to talk about the new movie.
In TOOTH FAIRY, Dwayne Johnson plays Derek Thompson, a hard-hitting hockey star who earns the nickname “the tooth fairy” for his habit of separating the opposing players from their bi-cuspids. When he discourages a youngster’s hopes, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite wings and magic wand. Stephan Merchant plays Tracy, fairy the caseworker assigned to Derek’s case.
In the video, the two actors discuss filming the hilarious scene where Dwayne Johnson first lands in fairyland – in a Tutu!
TOOTH FAIRY also stars Ashley Judd, Billy Crystal and Julie Andrews and opens in theaters nationwide January 22, 2010.
