TOOTH FAIRY Star Dwayne Johnson becomes an honorary LA King. He drops the first puck for LA King Dustin Brown and Boston Bruin Zdeno Chara.
To celebrate the new film TOOTH FAIRY, The Los Angeles Kings Hockey Team honored star Dwayne Johnson this weekend.
Playing the Boston Bruins, the LA Kings dedicated the game to TOOTH FAIRY and Dwayne Johnson. He was made an honorary King, and dropped the game’s first puck.
In the movie, Johnson’s character, Derek Thompson, is a professional hockey player who becomes an LA King after getting sentenced to serve time as a real Tooth Fairy complete with pink tutu, wings and magic wand.
The special connection between the movie and the Kings team seemed to be a winning combination: the Kings beat the Bruins in an overtime shootout as Dwayne Johnson cheered them on.
