Teen Read Week: Encourage Teens to Vote for their Favorite Books of ‘09



Yalsa’s (Young Adult Library Services Association) Teen Read Week is only a month away.  Gear up for the exciting library week by encouraging teens to cast their vote in the final days of Teens’ Top 10 2009 contest.

Teens ages 12-18 can go online to vote for their 3 favorite books of 2009. The nominees (listed below) are all fantastic books chosen by teens for teens. Those who vote will also be entered for a chance to win a free copy of The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie courtesy of Little Brown Books for Young Readers.

Voting is almost over - so encourage your teens to participate in this awesome nationwide event before September 18th.
