Joey King, who plays Ramona Quimby in our new film RAMONA AND BEEZUS, was featured an up and comer for 2010 in Variety’s Youth Impact Report.
The popular entertainment trade newspaper Variety publishes a report every year highlighting the most influential young people in Hollywood. Considered a prestigious honor, Walden was thrilled to learn that Joey King was included.
Elizabeth Allen, director of RAMONA AND BEEZUS says of King: “She’s so honest. Her performance hasn’t built up any barriers… Some adults get intimidated because she’s so raw and real. I truly believe she can do anything.”
Selena Gomez, who plays Beezus Quimby in the film was also featured in the report as part of the “Alumni Update.” She was highlighted last year for her work with the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place.
