Q&A with Ramona and Beezus star Joey King

-What is your favorite book?  Puppy Place Series by Ellen Miles and Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney

-What is your favorite movie?  50 First Dates and Beauty Shop

-Who was your favorite teacher?  Mrs. Levine her current (4th) grade teacher

-What inspires you?  or Who??  Who, Joey said her Great-Grandpa who passed last year. She said, he never let age stop him from trying things (like at Joey’s birthday, she had a reptile party and Poppy let them wrap a snake around his neck), he loved to play cards with her, he loved to eat real slow just like Joey,  he loved children, and she said he was the sweetest man in the world. *Note* he was her only male older generation, even her grandpa’s had passed on. What inspires her? She said, love from her family, little baby shoes at the stores, music, when I watch commercials to help animals or see video with disabled people (she said cripple), I want to go out and help and make a difference.

-What is your favorite thing to eat?  Edamame, pizza and anything with ketchup all over it

-What is the best advice you’ve been given?  Always be kind to people because we are all equal in Gods eyes.

-What is your favorite pastime?  Ride my bike in the house (almost everyday), board games (especially bug monopoly and juicy couture monopoly), putting on little shows for my family, playing with my dogs, practicing cheers with my second oldest sister who does cheerleading

-What is your greatest accomplishment?  Doing a performance of sign language songs at the Ronald Reagan Library

- What are you most proud of?  Raising money by making bracelets, and walking and walking and walking for the Relay For Life for the American Cancer Society

- What is your most embarrassing moment?  When a teacher disciplined me infront of the entire class, otherwise I never really get embarrassed

- Which words or phrases do you most overuse?   “Yeah” at the end of a sentence. My mom hates it.

- Which talent would you most like to have?  Singing

- Who is your favorite hero of fiction?   Spiderman, I’ve seen all the movies

- What is your motto?  Same as my moms she said, “Life is not measured by the number of breathes we take, but my the moments that take your breathe away

- What is your favorite school subject?  Science…...that might change after next weeks test on volume, area, etc. equations and the periodoc table  HEEELLPPP
