Sometimes you just need to laugh – laugh a big, belly-aching, roll-on-the-floor laugh. Fortunately, the new book Guys Read: Funny Business is here to help.

Edited by Jon Scieszka of The Stinky Cheese Man and Trucktown fame, Guys Read is a hilarious compilation of ten stories guaranteed to delight, amuse, and possibly make you spit your drink in your friend’s face.

Each story is written by an esteemed children’s author to appeal to boys. Scieszka created Guys Read several years ago as a literacy initiative to get boys reading. He’s not so much concerned with what they’re reading, be it a comic book, action-adventure story or magazine, so long as boys find stories that speak to them.

Guys Read: Funny Business, the first in a series of Guys Read compilations, hopes to fill that void, and introduce boys to stories that interest and excite them.
