The cast of New Line Cinema and Walden Media's 2006 film How to Eat Fried Worms
Inspired by a class reading of Thomas Rockwell's classic book How to Eat Fried Worms, Louisiana 4th grade teacher Alison Gros made a bet with her students: that she would eat a worm for every one of her students that passed the state standards test. She ended up eating about 30 worms. Check out the video courtesy of Fox News:
Rockwell's book is also the inspiration for Walden's 2006 film How to Eat Fried Worms. Check out our How to Eat Fried Worms Educator Guide for fun (if somewhat yucky) activities for the classroom.
