The Dove Foundation has awarded BANDSLAM its prestigious Seal of Approval. Founded in 1991 by Dick Rolfe, The Dove Foundation was created to address the growing amounts of gratuitous sex, violence and anti-family values children are exposed to at the movies. The foundation created its seal and exclusive rating system promote and help parents identify quality family-friendly fare. In Rolfe’s own words: “It’s time for positive family values to impact those in Hollywood instead of Hollywood impacting family values.” Dove’s Seal has since become synonymous with excellent family entertainment.
We feel excited and honored that BANDSLAM joins the league of Dove-approved films. Read Dove’s full review of BANDSLAM on dove.org.
BANDSLAM opens in theaters nationwide August 14th.
