Back to School!

When preparing your child for back to school season, make sure you look over their school supplies list to ensure they have everything they need! Although in the grand scheme of things it’s not a big deal if they don’t have their colored pencils, to your child it might seem like the end of the world if they are the only one lacking a required item on that first day.

Make the effort to get to know your child’s teacher! If you can, when picking them up from school, instead of just swinging through the carpool line, park and go in! A friendly hello will be greatly appreciated by the teacher, and you will get to meet the person who will have a huge impact on your child’s life for the next year. Also, suggest they wear their favorite or lucky t-shirt! If they don’t have a lucky item of clothing, giving them something small like a lucky keychain or eraser that they can have with them should do the trick.
