Here’s an early holiday gift for all of you travelers: from now until January 16th, Google is offering free WiFi internet connections at 47 major airports across the country. Whether you need to get that last bit of work done before heading home for Thanksgiving, or need to entertain the kids with their favorite online video – this is a fantastic opportunity.
Simply bring your WiFi enabled laptop or mobile device to the airport, and select the “free wifi” option. The actual name of the connection will vary with each airport, but Google assures us, it will be obvious.
For even more fun – you can enter Google’s WiFi photo contest. Details are forthcoming, but it sounds like you take a photo of yourself at the airport using the internet, and will be entered to win special prizes.
Enjoy the free internet, and safe travels this holiday season!
